Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in Salmonella poultry poses a serious human health threat as it has zoonotic importance. Poultry is often linked with outbreaks of Salmonella-associated foodborne illness. Since antimicrobials are heavily used Bangladesh, multidrug-resistant (MDR) quite frequently found there.
